Hello!!! Its been a while since I've posted anything... I hardly have time to get on the computer anymore. But here I am!
So not much has happened in the last three/four weeks. Learning to be a parent has been wonderful and stressful and happy and crazy and exhausting. I LOVE LOVE LOVE being a mom! Its the best. Its strengthened my relationship with my husband and taught me so much about myself and about life. I love this little boy that I get to raise and teach and guide. Its the best.
Noah is such a good baby! So content and you can just tell that he's a happy boy. Its so fun to wake up to him everyday/night (he wakes up about twice a night) and see how different he already looks. Noah loves taking baths, sleeping and eating (mostly from mommy... he's okay with a bottle but milk straight from me is his favorite). He's starting to smile and its the cutest thing ever! We got newborn pictures taken when he was two weeks old and here is the link for a few of his photos.... he really is the cutest baby I've ever seen and I'm not just saying that because I'm his mom... he really is. And the photographer did so awesome!
In other news, we had a great Thanksgiving. We spent the holiday at my in-laws because my parents were on vacation back east. It was a lot of fun! Good food and great company! I love my husbands family so much. They are all so great!
My 23rd birthday was that weekend and it was a blast. Saturday morning Jordan and I went to breakfast (Noah was, again, so perfect... he slept the whole time! even when we had to wait 45 minutes for a table!). That night our friends came over for pizza and cookies with ice cream. Sunday (my actual birthday) my parents made my birthday dinner and we enjoyed the company of my family. It was a great birthday this year.
Noah was blessed on the fifth of this month and it was such a wonderful day! Our families and all of our friends were there and Jordan gave the best blessing... a lot of people were in tears, it was very moving.
Now we're just getting ready for Christmas and enjoying our little family. I'm so grateful for such a loving and supportive husband and a baby boy thats so happy and content. I am truly blessed this season.
He's darling Caroline. :) I miss you!! Let's get together soon...after the holidays. Love you!!
